week 5; wednesday afternoon; locked to break and gilbert

[So Undyne's noticed that she hasn't seen a certain member of Team Pride around that much this week! She's not worried of course, but Break is clearly someone who despite being incredibly intelligent also Needs To Be Babysat. Plus his room is right next to hers, so it's no big deal to knock on his door after she's done dropping some stuff off in hers.

And by knock, she of course means kick the door in.]

'SUP, PUNK! Are you dying in there? Stop being a weird hermit and let's hang out!!

That wouldn't work, anyway. Lithuania and I went through when the guns showed up and dismantled them all, and then Dhaos came to break them into pieces later. [Because 1) no one needs firearms and 2) Gilbert doesn't want to be framed or something stupid OKAY, HE SEES THE WRITING ON THE WALL.]

But the next day they were there again, good as new.
crazily: please do not take! (because I'm hardcore like that)

[personal profile] crazily 2016-03-16 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, I should clarify. I mean that it's not important in the scheme of prevention. I'd assume that every week is meant to motivate at least one person even if we may not know it. I doubt our captors would create them this way if they didn't think at least one person would take the chance.

[ Though the fact that everything does regenerate that quickly is news to Break, though it gets him to laugh. It's bitter, though, since it's what should be expected. ]

Tying everyone up all week is a bit too far, most likely~. But at least getting rid of things when our murderers seem to strike could probably help? Who knows, really. [ He shrugs ] It's very frustrating to not be able to be more proactive, that much I'm certain of.
stupidly: (pensive)

[personal profile] stupidly 2016-03-16 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
[Aw, was his friendship defense really that effective? Gilbert looks a little surprised, but hey, if it saves Break he's 100% a-okay with it. He'll stan for Break until the bitter end okay...]

Even that "buddy system" isn't flawless, but I do think it's a good place to start. By this point, I'm sure everyone knows to be extra careful starting Thursday afternoons. Spending the night with as many other people as possible may end up saving a life.

[This is also why he's dragging Break into Thursday sleepovers from now on.]
crazily: (only give +1 for two boobs)

[personal profile] crazily 2016-03-16 04:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, other than the "finding a boulder" part and the part where you and everyone in your room would probably be suspects, sure, it could~.

[ So, no. No, Undyne, don't put rocks in front of people's doors. Though speaking of, Break does glances Gilbert's way, since it'd be nice to have a third party to witness this, he figures. Just in case. ]

Ah, though...! Since we're talking about it, I think I'll invite Rhys as well, by the way. He probably doesn't have anyone else, right~?
stupidly: (potato pancakes)

[personal profile] stupidly 2016-03-16 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
[Yeah please don't do that, Undyne... Gilbert is just giving her a look that says "why", though it's briefly shifting to confusing since he can't keep up with Break's weird logic.]

Uh— Well, probably not. [Isn't it sad, Rhys?] But that's fine. The two of you can take the beds.
crazily: (I did stuff once. I still regret it.)

[personal profile] crazily 2016-03-16 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Probably so~. He probably hasn't be picked off yet because it would be rather sad to do so, wouldn't it...? So, really, it's quite charitable of us.

[ He turns to Gilbert, then waves a hand in his direction. ]

You and Rhys could share, right?

[ Because Break isn't sharing. Or more accurately, you wouldn't even want to share with Break because he would probably be the guy to just straight up deck you in his sleep. Because as it would happen, that's more or less what had occurred with dreams of Pride Mom. ]

...Ahh, so you did as well. [ Break sighs, then nods ] Yes, I did. As did Miss Alisha, actually, since I happened to ask her about it.

[ But he won't say any more than that without prompting. He's still not sure how to take it, for one, but his immediate reflex of trying to fuck her up was probably a bad one to admit to. ]
stupidly: (u fuckrs)

[personal profile] stupidly 2016-03-16 09:46 pm (UTC)(link)
[No he's keeping his headache, he's slightly less of a headache than Undyne's headache...]

I don't mind sleeping on the chair. [He's not sharing a bed with Rhys... They're both beanpoles and Rhys has a robot arm, his jaw would probably somehow get broken during the night.

THAT SAID, he'll just lapse into silence at this part of the conversation, since Break's already shared but he's obviously not gonna deetspill. Instead he just waits to see what else Undyne will say. Was it the same lady? He's assuming "probably", based on what both Break and Alisha have said. rip team pride...]
crazily: (being America's penis is a tough job)

[personal profile] crazily 2016-03-16 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Break laughs, and he'll just clarify this clear point of confusion here... ]

It's not the logistics that are the problem, you know. None of us want to share a bed. Being in the same room is enough, but anything more than that is pushing someone's luck.

[ I mean of the three shady stooges here, none of them are exactly cuddle material... ]

...Oh? Well, something like that, yes. [ punching is very similar to decapitation duh ] Though it didn't turn out to be a good idea! I assume that feeling of whatever it was meant she wasn't pleased with the attempt.
stupidly: (100 HEADACHES A DAY)

[personal profile] stupidly 2016-03-16 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
What he said. [#ditto... The shady stooges may ride and die together (or with Morrigan going first, whatever) but bed-sharing is just Too Far. And also possibly dangerous.

Shooting Break a mild look at that, though.... But he shifts his attention to Undyne instead.]

That makes three then, right? The woman who appeared at Morrigan's execution, the one I saw, and the one your team saw. Has anyone else spoken about anything like that this week...?
crazily: (it's like a Canadian rainbow)

[personal profile] crazily 2016-03-17 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
[ Break may understand this movement, but he somehow doubts that Gilbert is going to agree that taking any side with Break is the sane and rational one... At least when it comes to violence. ]

That wasn't exactly my concern at the moment, but I guess that's fair enough. Though I doubt Miss Alisha would agree...

[ She's the pure white sheep in the team of black sheep... ]

Ah, but we may not know, right? It could be worth asking. It's not as if keeping this to ourselves has any benefit, does it? That woman didn't say we had to keep this to ourselves.
stupidly: (now he's aging 500 years a day)

[personal profile] stupidly 2016-03-17 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
[He definitely doesn't think attacking dream demons is a good idea guys?! STOP... Though he supposes this is why they're on a team together or something.]

Don't do anything that might get you in trouble. [Both in relation to asking and punching dream ghosts...]

...But I do think it's worth looking into, anyway. Yours is the first full team that anything's contacted, right? [Since Gilbert just got picked on randomly and Morrigan was reapered away to the afterlife.]
crazily: (I'm a fucking troglodyte)

[personal profile] crazily 2016-03-17 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
That's what I would guess... Since we never seem to accomplish much on the first day anyways, perhaps it would be worth bringing it up at our trial this week~?

[ I mean, discussing Plot (?) seems better that discussing why Break and Gilbert need to be sleeping together in his opinion. ]

Who knows! Maybe others have gotten these dreams, but they've only mentioned it amongst their own. I'm sure you'd be able to be quite convincing, at least, since you would threaten to fight them if they were withholding something, I'd guess!

[ Break laughs like this is a joke, but is it really... ]
stupidly: (potato pancakes)

[personal profile] stupidly 2016-03-17 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
[He seconds that idea if it'll keep people from talking about their fabricated love life. He's Tired™.]

We could bring it up early on... If this sort of thing continues to happen, it must have important tie-ins to whatever is going on behind the scenes here, right? I've heard some people have been running into ghosts too, around the schoolhouse and such. If we can't discuss it in trial- [Because let's be real, they need all the time they can get.] -then I think we should host a meeting on Monday morning, before the incentives go up and people start getting distracted again.
crazily: (RE: FWD: FWD: FWD)

[personal profile] crazily 2016-03-17 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
[ that's pretty much the same thing, undyne... ]

[ But Break doesn't question it, and he instead nods, complete with a flap of his sleeve in their direction, the true sign of acceptance. ]

Ah, a Monday sounds good too! We just need to be sure to drag everyone there, in that case... So perhaps that's a task well suited to you, Undyne? You can beat them up if they refuse! Or put a boulder in front of their door. Either or~.
stupidly: (u fuckrs)

[personal profile] stupidly 2016-03-17 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
Break...

[JUST A QUIET WARNING "BREAK" but he knows Undyne will probably jump at the opportunity to gently beat people into submission for a group meeting, god. What's wrong with Team Pride.]

It shouldn't be too difficult to gather people together, anyway. Most of them pass through the kitchen before the motives are announced.

[Where Gilbert lies in wait like some sort of breakfast death trap, only without the death, thankfully.]
crazily: (*tips fedora*)

[personal profile] crazily 2016-03-17 01:26 pm (UTC)(link)
What? She's so enthusiastic, so we shouldn't stifle that spark of youth~.

[ Is Break even joking about this... It kind of seems like it, but it also seems like he'd genuinely enjoy Undyne manhandling people into submission. It's probably both, honestly. ]

From what we have now? No, I doubt it. Even if we assemble all of these pieces, we may find that there's absolutely nothing to be gained for it. But simply sitting around waiting for another to be tempted into [ sinning ] murder doesn't sit well with me. If there's something to be done, however small, then it's worth pursuing.
stupidly: (poses with my cig)

[personal profile] stupidly 2016-03-17 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't get her into trouble by encouraging that.

[What if she accidentally manhandles an immune or something?? That said--]

I agree with Break. I don't think we'll get far yet, but a start is a start.
